MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

FIRE WEATHER DANGER.
RISK...LIMITED.
AREA...NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA.
ONSET...AFTERNOON.

DISCUSSION...
WARMER TEMPERATURES AND BREEZY SOUTH WINDS WILL RESULT IN A LIMITED
FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON...MAINLY NORTH OF INTERSTATE 44.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
SUNDAY AND MONDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.
TUESDAY...NO HAZARDS.
WEDNESDAY...VERY HIGH FIRE WEATHER POTENTIAL...HIGH WIND POTENTIAL.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES INCREASE DURING THE DAY SUNDAY AS THE LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES INTO THE PLAINS. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORM WILL
REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGH MONDAY BEFORE A COLD FRONT PUSHES ACROSS
EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. BEHIND THE EXITING COLD
FRONT...HIGH PRESSURE AND WARMER TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST FOR THE
MIDDLE PART OF NEXT WEEK. THESE CONDITIONS COMBINED WITH A RETURN OF
GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS WEDNESDAY WILL HELP TO RAISE FIRE WEATHER
CONCERNS OVER PARTS OF THE REGION. THUNDERSTORM CHANCES QUICKLY
RETURN LATE IN THE WEEK AS ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM LOOKS TO MOVE
INTO THE PLAINS.
