THIS OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS AS WELL AS
MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL...HEAVY RAIN POTENTIAL.
FRIDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.
SATURDAY...NO HAZARDS.
SUNDAY...NO HAZARDS.
MONDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL SPREAD INTO THE AREA WEDNESDAY
NIGHT INTO THURSDAY AS A STRONG UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM APPROACHES.
HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE LIKELY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS SOUTHEAST
OKLAHOMA AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS WHERE 2 TO 5 INCH RAINFALL
TOTALS ARE EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. THIS RAINFALL
COULD LEAD TO BOTH FLASH FLOODING AND MAIN-STEM RIVER FLOODING.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MAY BE NEEDED FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
OKLAHOMA AND POSSIBLY INTO WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS DURING THE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT...THURSDAY TIME FRAME. IN ADDITION A FEW SEVERE
STORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE...PRIMARILY ACROSS FAR SOUTHEAST
OKLAHOMA AS A WARM FRONT LIFTS NORTH TO THE RED RIVER.

A SLOW WARMING TREND WILL DEVELOP THIS COMING WEEKEND...AS AN
UPPER LEVEL RIDGE BEGINS TO BUILD BACK INTO THE REGION...WITH
THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAT INDICES TO EXCEED 100 DEGREES BY MONDAY.
