THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
SOME DRIER AIR HAS MOVED INTO THE REGION AND THIS WILL LOWER THE
CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE HIGHEST
RAIN CHANCES WILL BE FROM ABOUT SARASOTA TO SEBRING SOUTHWARD
WHERE SCATTERED STORMS ARE EXPECTED. FURTHER NORTH THE STORMS WILL
BE MORE ISOLATED. ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP WILL BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS... AND FREQUENT
DEADLY LIGHTNING STRIKES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
ON FRIDAY MOISTURE WILL REMAIN LIMITED ACROSS THE NATURE COAST...
BUT FURTHER SOUTH DEEPER MOISTURE WILL BE MOVING INTO SOUTH
FLORIDA AS A WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE MOVES WEST FROM THE
BAHAMAS. STORMS WILL REMAIN ISOLATED ACROSS THE NATURE COAST
THANKS TO THE DRIER AIR...AND SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS FURTHER SOUTH.

OVER THE WEEKEND AND INTO MONDAY THE WEAK LOW PRESSURE WILL
CONTINUE MOVING WEST OUT INTO THE GULF OF MEXICO WITH DEEPER
MOISTURE OVERSPREADING MOST OF THE AREA. THIS WILL LEAD TO
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS MAINLY AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS
EACH DAY.

BY TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY A WEAKENING COLD FRONT WILL BE
APPROACHING FROM THE NORTH SHIFTING WINDS TO A MORE SOUTHWEST TO
WEST DIRECTION. THIS WILL CHANGE THE TIMING OF THE STORMS TO NEAR
THE COAST IN THE MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON AND THEN INLAND
DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. THUNDERSTORMS THAT DO
DEVELOP WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINS... AND FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING STRIKES.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TODAY.
