THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

...EXCESSIVE COLD IMPACT...
MUCH COLDER AIR WILL FILL INTO THE REGION TODAY WITH WIDESPREAD
FREEZING TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TONIGHT/WEDNESDAY MORNING OVER THE
NATURE COAST...WITH ISOLATED SPOTS FARTHER SOUTH POTENTIALLY
DROPPING BELOW FREEZING AS WELL. A HARD FREEZE WARNING IS IN
EFFECT FOR LEVY AND CITRUS COUNTIES AND A FREEZE WARNING IS IN
EFFECT FOR HERNANDO AND SUMTER COUNTIES. IN ADDITION...ELEVATED
WINDS COMBINED WITH THE COLDER TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY PRODUCE
LOW WIND CHILL READINGS LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.
RESIDENTS WITH TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE PLANTS SHOULD COVER THEM OR
BRING THEM INDOORS. PETS SHOULD ALSO BE BROUGHT INDOORS TO
PROTECT THEM FROM THE COLD.

...RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
NORTHWEST WINDS AND HIGH SURF WILL PRODUCE RIP CURRENTS ALONG AREA
BEACHES TODAY AND TONIGHT. RIP CURRENTS CAN PULL EVEN STRONG
SWIMMERS INTO DEEPER WATERS. USE CAUTION WHEN SWIMMING AT
UNGUARDED BEACHES.

...MARINE IMPACTS...
SUSTAINED NORTHWEST WINDS OF UP TO 25 KNOTS WITH HIGHER GUSTS AND
SEAS OF UP TO 10 FEET WILL PRODUCE HAZARDOUS BOATING CONDITIONS
TODAY AND TONIGHT...WITH WINDS TURNING TO OUT OF THE NORTHEAST
TONIGHT. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT INTO WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

...EXCESSIVE COLD IMPACT...
WIDESPREAD FREEZING TEMPERATURES WILL BE POSSIBLE AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY
EVENING OVER LEVY COUNTY...WITH ISOLATED POCKETS OF FREEZING
TEMPERATURES FARTHER SOUTH. RESIDENTS WITH TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE PLANTS
SHOULD COVER THEM OR BRING THEM INDOORS. PETS SHOULD ALSO BE
BROUGHT INDOORS TO PROTECT THEM FROM THE COLD.
