THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
ABUNDANT MOISTURE AND SOUTHEASTERLY TO SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL LEAD
TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS TODAY...MOSTLY ALONG SEA BREEZE
BOUNDARIES. A FEW SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL MOVE ONSHORE FROM THE
GULF THIS MORNING BEFORE MORE WIDESPREAD STORMS BEGIN TO DEVELOP
AROUND MIDDAY AND EXPAND IN COVERAGE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. DUE TO
SLOW STORM MOTION...THE PRIMARY THREAT WILL BE LONG DURATIONS OF
HEAVY RAINFALL AND LOCALIZED FLOODING. ADDITIONALLY...GUSTY WINDS
AND FREQUENTLY LIGHTNING STRIKES WILL BE POSSIBLE.

...FLOOD IMPACT...
ABUNDANT TROPICAL MOISTURE COMBINED WITH SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS
WILL FAVOR SOME LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS ACROSS THE REGION
TODAY. THE HEAVY RAIN MAY PRODUCE SOME MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING
AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AS WELL AS THE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS.
MOTORISTS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION AND SLOW DOWN IF ENCOUNTERING
HEAVY RAIN TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED EACH AFTERNOON
THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK. EAST TO SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL CAUSE THE
HIGHEST STORMS TO BE CONCENTRATED ALONG AND TO THE WEST OF THE
INTERSTATE 75 CORRIDOR. THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS...AND FREQUENT
DEADLY LIGHTNING STRIKES.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TODAY.
