THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER THE COASTAL
WATERS AND MOVE ONSHORE EFFECTING THE COASTAL COUNTIES THIS
MORNING. MOST OF THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INLAND DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND THEN GRADUALLY DISSIPATE DURING THE EVENING. THE
STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS UP
TO 40 MPH...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING
STRIKES.

...RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
WESTERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE TODAY AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES
FROM THE NORTH LEADING TO A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AT AREA
BEACHES. RIP CURRENTS CAN PULL EVEN STRONG SWIMMERS OUT INTO
DEEPER WATERS. DO NOT SWIM AT UNGUARDED BEACHES. IF CAUGHT IN A
RIP CURRENT...SWIM PARALLEL TO THE COAST UNTIL YOU ARE FREE OF THE
PULL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO NORTH FLORIDA TUESDAY...CENTRAL
FLORIDA DURING WEDNESDAY AND EVENTUALLY REACH SOUTH FLORIDA
THURSDAY. DEEP MOISTURE AHEAD OF AND ALONG THIS BOUNDARY WILL LEAD
TO AN INCREASED CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA
TUESDAY AND ACROSS THE SOUTH ON WEDNESDAY. BEHIND THE FRONT SOME
DRIER AIR WILL MOVE IN LOWERING THE RAIN CHANCES FROM THE TAMPA
BAY AREA NORTHWARD WEDNESDAY...AND ACROSS MOST OF THE REGION
THURSDAY. LATE IN THE WEEK INTO THE WEEKEND THE DEEPER MOISTURE
WILL RETURN WITH SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS MAINLY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED.

...RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
THE MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY AS
BREEZY WESTERLY WINDS PERSIST.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TODAY.
