THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER THE COASTAL WATERS AND
MOVE ONSHORE EFFECTING THE COASTAL COUNTIES THIS MORNING. THE
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AS THEY MOVE INTO THE
INTERIOR COUNTIES DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS THEN GRADUALLY
DISSIPATE DURING THE EVENING HOURS. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL BE
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS UP TO 40 MPH...LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING STRIKES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
DRIER AIR ALOFT WILL COMBINE WITH SUBSIDENCE OVER THE AREA TO
DECREASE THE OVERALL AREAL COVERAGE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS WEST
CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST FLORIDA SUNDAY AND MONDAY. A COLD FRONT
WILL APPROACH FROM THE NORTH DURING MIDWEEK AND EVENTUALLY BECOME
STATIONARY ACROSS THE REGION DURING THE SECOND HALF OF THE WEEK.
THIS WILL LEAD TO AN INCREASED CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY.

...RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
WESTERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE EARLY NEXT WEEK AS THE COLD FRONT
APPROACHES FROM THE NORTH AND THIS WILL LEAD TO A HIGHER
PROBABILITY OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG AREA BEACHES.
