THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TODAY. THUNDERSTORMS WILL
DEVELOP OVER THE GULF WATERS THIS MORNING AND MOVE ONSHORE
THROUGH THE DAY...WITH THE HIGHEST CONCENTRATIONS OVER THE
INTERIOR OF THE FLORIDA PENINSULA THIS AFTERNOON. THUNDERSTORMS
THAT DEVELOP WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY
WINDS...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS...AND FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING
STRIKES.

...WATERSPOUT IMPACT...
ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR WATERSPOUT
DEVELOPMENT TODAY. MARINERS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
WATERSPOUTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
DRIER AIR WILL KEEP THUNDERSTORM CHANCES LIMITED THROUGH THE FIRST
HALF OF THE WEEK...THOUGH SCATTERED MOSTLY AFTERNOON STORMS WILL
STILL BE POSSIBLE. BY THE END OF THE WORK WEEK...MORE WIDESPREAD
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ONCE AGAIN. THUNDERSTORMS THAT
DEVELOP WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINS...AND FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING STRIKES.

...EXCESSIVE HEAT IMPACT...
EACH AFTERNOON DURING THE WORK WEEK...SEVERAL HOURS OF DANGEROUSLY
HOT TEMPERATURES WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE INTERIOR OF WEST
CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST FLORIDA. THE COMBINATION OF HOT TEMPERATURES
AND HIGH HUMIDITY WILL COMBINE TO CREATE A DANGEROUS SITUATION IN
WHICH HEAT ILLNESSES ARE LIKELY. HEAT INDEX VALUES ARE FORECAST TO
REACH UP TO 105 TO 108 EACH AFTERNOON. DRINK PLENTY OF
FLUIDS...STAY IN AN AIR-CONDITIONED ROOM...STAY OUT OF THE
SUN...AND CHECK UP ON RELATIVES AND NEIGHBORS. GIVE PETS EXTRA
WATER AND BRING THEM INDOORS IF POSSIBLE.
