THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
AND SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS...NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...AND EAST AND NORTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB INTO THE MID TO UPPER 90S...AND
WHEN COMBINED WITH THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY...WILL PRODUCE HEAT INDEX
VALUES FROM 100 TO 105 DEGREES. THOSE PERSONS THAT WILL BE
OUTSIDE AT WORK OR PLAY SHOULD DRINK PLENTY OF WATER...TAKE
FREQUENT BREAKS FROM STRENUOUS ACTIVITY...AND SPEND TIME
IN SHADE OR AIR CONDITIONED FACILITIES. BE SURE TO CHECK ON THE
ELDERLY...ESPECIALLY IF THEY USE FANS TO COOL...AND ENSURE THAT
OUTDOOR PETS HAVE PLENTY OF WATER AND A SHADY PLACE TO REST.
NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB INTO THE MID 90S TO NEAR 100
DEGREES SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY...AND WHEN COMBINED WITH THE
RELATIVE HUMIDITY...WILL PRODUCE HEAT INDEX VALUES FROM 100 TO 105
DEGREES. THERE WILL BE SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL SEE HEAT INDEX
VALUES HIGHER AND RANGE FROM 103 TO 107 DEGREES BRIEFLY. ISOLATED
TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL RETURN TO NORTH
CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND DEEP EAST TEXAS MONDAY AFTERNOON...AND AREA
WIDE TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...AS A SERIES OF WEAK UPPER LEVEL
DISTURBANCES SPREAD WEST INTO THE AREA. THERE WILL BE SOME ISOLATED
STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH STORMS MOVING WEST ACROSS THE
REGION INTO MID WEEK...AND THEN FROM THOSE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST
WITH THE NEXT UPPER LEVEL TROUGH SWINGING EAST AND AFFECTING THE
REGION FOR THE LATE HALF OF THE WORK WEEK.
