THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH ARKANSAS...FOR NORTH
LOUISIANA...FOR EAST TEXAS AND SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

ANOTHER THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX TO OUR NORTH IS MOVING SOUTHWARD
ACROSS EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN ARKANSAS. THIS ACTIVITY MAY
HOLD TOGETHER OR AT THE LEAST...SEND AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY OUR WAY
DURING PEAK AFTERNOON HEATING. SCATTERED COVERAGE OF THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE POSSIBLE TODAY WITH SOME HEAVY AMOUNTS OVER DEEP EAST
TEXAS...WHERE ABUNDANT TROPICAL MOISTURE RESIDES. GUSTY WINDS TO 40
MPH AND BRIEF HEAVY RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG WITH DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING. NO OTHER HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

THE UPPER LEVEL RIDGE WILL EXPAND OVER THE PLAINS AND WILL EFFECTIVELY
SUPPRESS OUR THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WITH ONLY ISOLATED COVERAGE FOR
PORTIONS OF THE AREA ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. FOR SUNDAY...THUNDERSTORM
ACTIVITY WILL PICK UP AGAIN AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES THE REGION.
THIS COLD FRONT WILL MOVE DOWN ACROSS THE FOUR STATE AREA DURING EARLY
MONDAY...CLEARING THE WAY FOR THE FALL SEASON TO BRING AN OFFICIAL
END TO SUMMER MONDAY EVENING. FALL GETS A COOL AND DRY START FOR TUESDAY.

NO WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
