ARKANSAS...SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS...NORTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...
NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...EAST TEXAS AND NORTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A WARM...HUMID AND UNSTABLE AIR MASS...WILL SET THE STAGE FOR
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION
BY MIDDAY...AHEAD OF A VERY STRONG ADVANCING COLD FRONT. STRONG
GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL CAN BE EXPECTED...WITH LARGE HAIL AND
DAMAGING WINDS A POSSIBILITY WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS...AS THESE
STORMS WILL BE FUELED BY AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES REACHING THE
LOWER TO MID 70S...AND A POWERFUL LOW LEVEL JET.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

THE THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER WILL DIMINISH AFTER THE FRONT
PASSES BUT RAIN WILL LIKELY PERSIST OVERNIGHT. A TRANSITION TO FREEZING
RAIN AND SLEET WILL OCCUR ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA DURING THE
DAYTIME MONDAY AS COLDER AIR CONTINUES TO WORKS ITS WAY SOUTHWARD.
YET ANOTHER SHORT WAVE MAY BRING MORE WINTRY PRECIPITATION INTO
THE AREA TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT. CRUSTY ACCUMULATIONS COULD
POSSIBLY MAKE TRAVEL HAZARDOUS ON BRIDGES MONDAY...AND POSSIBLY
AGAIN TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT.

A STRONG SHORT WAVE BEHIND THE COLD FRONT...WILL BRING INCREASING
CHANCES OF RAIN INTO THE REGION LATE SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.
A TRANSITION TO FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET WILL OCCUR ACROSS MOST OF
THE AREA BY LATER SUNDAY NIGHT...WITH A MAINLY SNOW AND SLEET MIX
INTO THE DAYTIME MONDAY. YET ANOTHER SHORT WAVE MAY BRING MORE
WINTRY PRECIPITATION INTO THE AREA TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT.
