THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
ARKANSAS...SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND NORTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

HEAT INDEX VALUES OF 100 TO 105 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED AGAIN THIS
AFTERNOON. THOSE WORKING OR PLAYING OUTDOORS SHOULD TAKE FREQUENT
BREAKS IN THE SHADE OR INDOORS AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
BEFORE...DURING AND AFTER EXPOSURE TO THIS LATE SUMMER HEAT.
ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE
EVENING OR EVEN OVERNIGHT AS A TROPICAL WAVE WORKS INTO THE FOUR
STATE AREA. OTHERWISE...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES ABOVE 100 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED OVER THE
NEXT FEW DAYS. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN
POSSIBLE AS THE TROPICAL WAVE OF MOISTURE WORKS FARTHER WESTWARD
ACROSS THE AREA. DRIER DEW POINTS MAY MOVE IN FOR MID WEEK...BUT
AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO PICK UP AGAIN FOR
THE LATTER PORTION OF THE WORK WEEK AS A WEAK COLD FRONT
APPROACHES THE FROM THE NORTHWEST.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

HEAT INDEX VALUES NEAR 105 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED AGAIN THIS
AFTERNOON. THOSE WORKING OR PLAYING OUTDOORS SHOULD TAKE FREQUENT
BREAKS IN THE SHADE OR INDOORS AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
BEFORE...DURING AND AFTER EXPOSURE TO THIS LATE SUMMER HEAT.
MEANWHILE...A TROPICAL WAVE OF MOISTURE WILL PUSH ACROSS THE LOWER
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY WITH SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON
INTO THE EVENING HOURS. GUSTY WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE ONCE THESE
THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOP. THIS THREAT SHOULD BEGIN TO DIMINISH IN
COVERAGE AND INTENSITY LATE THIS EVENING...OTHERWISE...NO OTHER
HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED.
