THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
  ELEVATED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.
  LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  HEAT INDEX VALUES OF 99 TO 106 DEGREES WILL OCCUR THIS
  AFTERNOON. THE HIGHEST READINGS WILL OCCUR ALONG AND WEST OF
  THE INTERSTATE 49 CORRIDOR.

  SUSTAINED SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS AROUND 20 MPH WITH GUSTS AROUND
  30 MPH WILL CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS WESTERN MISSOURI
  AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS. THIS INCLUDES STOCKTON...
  POMME DE TERRE...AND TRUMAN LAKES.

  A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT AND
  SUNDAY AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. A FEW OF THE
  MORE ISOLATED INTENSE STORMS COULD BECOME MARGINALLY STRONG
  TO SEVERE TONIGHT WITH LARGE HAIL AND THUNDERSTORM WINDS THE
  MAIN POTENTIAL HAZARDS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

  HEAT INDICES WILL AGAIN REACH THE UPPER 90S ACROSS FAR SOUTH
  CENTRAL MISSOURI ON SUNDAY.

  THE CHANCE FOR A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL RETURN TO THE REGION
  LATE NEXT WEEK.
