OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM OR TWO CAN NOT BE RULED OUT THIS
  AFTERNOON EAST OF HIGHWAY 65.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

  NORTHERLY WIND GUSTS AROUND 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED ON FRIDAY AS A
  CANADIAN AIR MASS PLUNGES INTO THE REGION.

  A HARD FREEZE WILL END THE GROWING SEASON LATE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO
  SATURDAY MORNING. TEMPERATURES WILL FALL INTO THE LOW TO MID
  20S.

  SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL RETURN TO THE OZARKS FROM MONDAY
  THROUGH WEDNESDAY. AT THIS TIME THERE APPEARS TO BE A LIMITED
  RISK FOR FLOODING...AS INDICATIONS SUGGEST WIDESPREAD RAINFALL
  AMOUNTS POTENTIALLY RANGING FROM ONE TO THREE INCHES.
