THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED EXCESSIVE COLD RISK.
  ELEVATED SNOW RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  SNOW WILL SLOWLY END FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL
  MISSOURI LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING. VISIBILITIES
  BELOW A MILE CAN BE EXPECTED AT TIMES BENEATH HEAVIER SNOW
  BANDS. STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE
  EXPECTED. SNOW COVERED ROADWAYS AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES
  WILL RESULT IN DIFFICULT TRAVEL INTO THIS EVENING ACROSS
  SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI.

  MEANWHILE...ANOTHER ARCTIC AIR MASS WILL PUSH INTO THE
  REGION STARTING TONIGHT. WIND CHILLS BY SUNRISE ON MONDAY WILL
  BE AROUND ZERO DEGREES WITH AIR TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER AND
  MIDDLE TEENS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

  WIND CHILL VALUES WILL REMAIN AROUND ZERO EARLY MONDAY
  MORNING. WIND CHILLS WILL THEN REMAIN IN THE SINGLE DIGITS
  FOR MOST OF MONDAY AS BRISK NORTHWEST WINDS GUST TO NEAR
  30 MPH.

  WIND CHILLS WILL THEN FALL INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS BELOW ZERO
  BY EARLY TUESDAY MORNING AS AIR TEMPERATURES DROP INTO THE
  SINGLE DIGITS OVER MOST LOCATIONS.

  THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS NEXT
  WEEKEND AS A STORM SYSTEM TRACKS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN UNITED
  STATES.
