THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  ELEVATED SNOW RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  A BAND OF SNOW WILL DEVELOP AND SPREAD EAST INTO EAST CENTRAL
  KANSAS BY THE MID MORNING HOURS AND THEN INTO CENTRAL MISSOURI
  BY MID DAY. THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS
  BEFORE ENDING FROM WEST TO EAST BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON. A FEW
  FLURRIES MAY LINGER INTO THIS EVENING.

  SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL OCCUR ALONG AND NORTH
  OF THE HIGHWAY 54 CORRIDOR. LESSER AMOUNTS OF A DUSTING TO
  AROUND AN INCH ARE EXPECTED SOUTH OF U.S. 54 TO NORTH OF
  INTERSTATE 44. A SHARP CUTOFF TO THE SOUTHERN EXTENT OF THE SNOW
  SHOULD BE EXPECTED WITH THIS SYSTEM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

  ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW WILL AFFECT THE AREA ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON
  AND EVENING BUT SOUTH OF THE LOCATIONS AFFECTED BY THE ROUND OF
  SNOW TODAY. THE SNOW ON SUNDAY WILL GENERALLY FALL ALONG AND
  SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR WHERE A DUSTING TO AROUND AN
  INCH OF SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED.

  WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE SINGLE DIGITS ARE EXPECTED EARLY NEXT
  WEEK.
