THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
  ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.
  SIGNIFICANT FOG RISK.

DISCUSSION...

AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND FAR SOUTHWEST
MISSOURI MAY POSE A CONTINUED HAIL AND HEAVY RAIN RISK EARLY THIS
MORNING...BUT OVERALL RECENT TRENDS INDICATE THAT THE STRONGER
STORMS WILL STAY OFF TO THE WEST AND SOUTHWEST OF THE OUTLOOK
AREA. SOME SCATTERED STORM REDEVELOPMENT WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS
AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...MAINLY ALONG AND SOUTHWEST OF A LINE
FROM GIRARD KANSAS TO CASSVILLE MISSOURI.

HEAVY RAINFALL LAST NIGHT AND CONTINUED LIGHT TO MODERATE ACTIVITY
AT TIMES EARLY THIS MORNING WILL LEAD TO A CONTINUED LIMITED RISK
FOR FLOODING OVER PARTS OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND FAR SOUTHWEST
MISSOURI SOUTHWEST OF A LINE FROM NEVADA TO CASSVILLE.

DENSE FOG IS OCCURRING OVER SOME OF THE AREA THIS
MORNING...ESPECIALLY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 44. THE FOG WILL LIFT OR
BURN OFF BY MID TO LATE MORNING. THE MOST WIDESPREAD VERY DENSE
FOG HAS PERSISTED IN AREAS CLOSE TO THE ARKANSAS BORDER INCLUDING
THE BRANSON AND WEST PLAINS AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

A COLD FRONT WILL BRING ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORM CHANCES OVER THE
UPCOMING WEEKEND. THE OVERALL BEST CHANCES FOR STORMS WILL BE
SATURDAY NIGHT...BUT SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.
