THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
  ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER RISK.

DISCUSSION...

WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS
AFTERNOON ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI AS A COLD FRONT MOVES
SOUTH THROUGH THE AREA. ENOUGH INSTABILITY AND WIND SHEAR
WILL EXIST FOR A FEW OF THE STORMS TO PRODUCE FREQUENT
LIGHTNING AND HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS. ANY
THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP WILL QUICKLY DIMINISH AND PUSH
SOUTH OF THE AREA EARLY THIS EVENING.

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST THROUGH LATE
THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI DUE TO LOW RELATIVE
  HUMIDITIES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

SOUTHERLY WINDS MAY GUST UP TO 30 MPH ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
FOR AREAS WEST OF HIGHWAY 65.

PERIODS OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT
THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY WITH THE APPROACH AND PASSAGE OF A COLD
FRONT. STRONG TO POTENTIALLY SEVERE STORMS MAY DEVELOP THURSDAY
INTO THURSDAY EVENING IF ENOUGH INSTABILITY DEVELOPS. DAMAGING
WINDS AND HAIL WOULD BE THE PRIMARY HAZARDS IF SEVERE STORMS
  DEVELOP.

IN ADDITION...HEAVY RAINFALL AND THE POTENTIAL FOR LOCALIZED
  FLOODING MAY DEVELOP LATER THURSDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
