THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED HAIL RISK.
  ELEVATED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.
  LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.
  SIGNIFICANT FOG RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  FOG WILL CAUSE VISIBILITIES TO FALL BELOW A QUARTER MILE
  EARLY THIS MORNING ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI. PATCHY FOG WILL
  ALSO REMAIN POSSIBLE EARLY THIS MORNING ACROSS THE REMAINDER
  OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS.

  HEAT INDICES WILL WARM INTO THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 90S THIS
  AFTERNOON.

  STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE TONIGHT. SOME OF
  THE MORE ROBUST STORMS COULD PRODUCE WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF
  60 MPH...AND HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

  A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TUESDAY MORNING.

  DANGEROUS HEAT WILL EXPAND ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION LATER THIS
  WEEK. PARTICULARLY THURSDAY...FRIDAY...AND SATURDAY
  AFTERNOONS...HEAT INDICES WILL EXCEED 100 DEGREES IN MANY
  LOCATIONS.

  SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED LATE TONIGHT FOR EXTREME
  SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS.
