THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED FOG RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  PATCHY FOG WILL BE POSSIBLE IN LOW LYING TERRAIN EARLY THIS
  MORNING...ESPECIALLY ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI. WHERE FOG DOES
  DEVELOP SOME PATCHY BLACK ICE MAY BE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

  A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TUESDAY ACROSS SOUTHERN
  MISSOURI. NO SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

  GUSTY SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL OCCUR TUESDAY AHEAD OF A COLD
  FRONT...WITH GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS OCCURRING BEHIND THE FRONT
  TUESDAY NIGHT.

  AN AREA OF SNOW WILL DEVELOP TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY AS A
  STRONG STORM SYSTEM TRACKS THROUGH THE REGION. THERE ARE STILL
  QUESTIONS ON THE EXACT TRACK OF THIS SYSTEM WHICH COULD STILL
  SHIFT SLIGHTLY FARTHER SOUTH OR NORTH AND WOULD THEREFORE AFFECT
  SNOWFALL AMOUNTS. CURRENTLY THE OUTLOOK AREA IS EXPECTED TO BE
  ON THE NORTHERN PERIPHERY OF THIS SYSTEM. THEREFORE IT IS STILL
  TOO EARLY TO HAMMER OUT EXACT AMOUNTS. PLEASE STAY TUNED TO THE
  LATEST FORECAST FOR THE POTENTIAL OF ACCUMULATING SNOW TUESDAY
  NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY.

  WIND CHILLS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS WILL THEN BE POSSIBLE BY
  WEDNESDAY...THURSDAY AND FRIDAY MORNINGS. WIND CHILLS THURSDAY
  MORNING MAY DROP BELOW ZERO IN SOME LOCATIONS.
