OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  HEAT INDICES WILL WARM INTO THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S THIS
  AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

  HOT AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED ON A DAILY BASIS
  THROUGH AT LEAST THIS WEEKEND AND POTENTIALLY INTO EARLY NEXT
  WEEK. AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S ARE
  EXPECTED WITH HEAT INDICES RANGING FROM 97 TO 104 DEGREES.

  LONG RANGE WEATHER MODELS THEN INDICATE THE POTENTIAL FOR A
  FRONTAL BOUNDARY TO MOVE INTO THE REGION EARLY NEXT WEEK. IF
  THIS FRONT MATERIALIZES...IT MAY BRING COOLER TEMPERATURES
  ALONG WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS.
