THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHERN...
WESTERN...CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

.THUNDERSTORMS... THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TO FORM LATE THIS
AFTERNOON IN NORTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA NEAR A FRONT MOVING SLOWLY
NORTH. A FEW OF THE THUNDERSTORMS COULD CAUSE GUSTS TO 65 MPH AND
GOLFBALL-SIZED HAIL. HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED IN ISOLATED AREAS.
IF YOU HAVE OUTDOOR PLANS LATER TODAY... ESPECIALLY ACROSS NORTH
CENTRAL OKLAHOMA...STAY AWARE AND BE PREPARED.

THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL DECREASE LATE THIS
EVENING. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL STILL BE POSSIBLE IN STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS AFTER MIDNIGHT.

.HEAT...
TEMPERATURES AROUND 100 DEGREES IN A VERY HUMID AIRMASS WILL CREATE HEAT INDEX
100 TO 107 IN ALL BUT NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA. PLENTIFUL WATER AND COVER FROM THE SUN ARE TWO
GOOD WAYS TO AVOID HEAT RELATED ILLNESS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

.THUNDERSTORMS...
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE ACROSS PARTS OF
OKLAHOMA TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. GUSTY WINDS... SMALL HAIL...
HEAVY DOWNPOURS... AND CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL BE THE
MAIN CONCERNS.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL RETURN THURSDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUE
THROUGH SUNDAY.

.HEAT...
IT WILL BE UNUSUALLY HOT THIS WEEK WHEN AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES RANGE FROM THE UPPER 90S
TO JUST OVER 100 DEGREES. BECAUSE THE ATMOSPHERE IS SO HUMID, HEAT INDEX 100 TO 105 IS
EXPECTED TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. IF YOU HAVE PLANS TO BE OUTDOORS...
FOLLOW HEAT SAFETY GUIDELINES.
