TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

.HEAT...
AFTERNOON HIGHS WILL REACH THE MID TO UPPER 90S... COMBINED WITH
HIGH HUMIDITIES... HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL REACH THE LOWER 100S... TO
NEAR 105 ACROSS PORTIONS OF WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS. TODAY WILL BE THE BEGINNING OF A STRETCH OF HOT AND HUMID
WEATHER. PRACTICE GOOD HEAT SAFETY. FOR THOSE WORKING OR PLAYING
OUTDOORS... REMEMBER TO DRINK PLENTY OF WATER AND TAKE FREQUENT
BREAKS. CHECK ON THE ELDERLY AND NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN IN CARS. BE
SURE LIVESTOCK AND PETS HAVE PLENTY OF WATER.

AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL TOP OUT IN THE UPPER 90S TO LOWER
100S INTO THE WEEKEND. COMBINED WITH HIGH HUMIDITY... MAXIMUM
HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 90S TO AROUND 105
NEARLY EACH DAY. WEDNESDAY WILL BE THE MOST HUMID... WITH THE MAXIMUM
HEAT INDEX APPROACHING 110 IN SOME LOCATIONS. REMEMBER TO PRACTICE
GOOD HEAT SAFETY THIS WEEK.

.THUNDERSTORMS... ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE LATE WEDNESDAY AND EARLY THURSDAY WHEN AS A WEAK FRONT
