WESTERN...CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...REST OF TONIGHT...

.THUNDERSTORMS...
THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF SEVERE STORMS THIS EVENING ACROSS
CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA... AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS.

.LOCATION...
THE RISK AREA IS SOUTHEAST OF A LINE FROM PERRY AND KINGFISHER...
TO ANADARKO AND FREDERICK OKLAHOMA...TO VERNON AND SEYMOUR TEXAS.

.TIMING...
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 1 AM.

.IMPACTS...
LARGE HAIL TO THE SIZE OF TENNIS BALLS AND WIND GUSTS OVER 70 MPH
WILL BE THE MAIN HAZARDS WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS. A BRIEF AND
WEAK TORNADO WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. FREQUENT CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING
AND HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE ADDITIONAL CONCERNS.

.DISCUSSION...
A COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE REGION THIS EVENING.
A LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP
ALONG AND BEHIND THE FRONT. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS WILL
BE THE MAIN CONCERNS. A TORNADO OR TWO WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ALONG
THE LEADING EDGE OF STORMS. THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL
DIMINISH AFTER MIDNIGHT.

.STRONG WINDS...
VERY STRONG AND GUSTY NORTH WINDS WILL CONTINUE BEHIND THE COLD FRONT
THROUGH THE NIGHT. WINDS MAY GUST OVER 60 MPH IN SOME AREAS OF WESTERN
OKLAHOMA. USE CAUTION IF TRAVELING... ESPECIALLY ON EAST-WEST ROADS.

.COLD TEMPERATURES...
TEMPERATURES WILL DROP BEHIND A COLD FRONT TONIGHT. SOME LOCATIONS
OF NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA WILL DROP TO NEAR FREEZING FOR A SHORT TIME
AROUND SUNRISE THURSDAY MORNING.
