WESTERN...CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

.HEAT...
DANGEROUS HEAT WILL PERSIST AGAIN TODAY...WITH TRIPLE DIGIT
TEMPERATURES AND HEAT INDEX VALUES. MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW HEAT
SAFETY MEASURES...TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM HEAT RELATED ILLNESS
OR INJURY.

.THUNDERSTORMS...
A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO WEAKEN ACROSS FAR WESTERN
OKLAHOMA THIS MORNING.

A FEW ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON
INTO EARLY EVENING...MAINLY BETWEEN 3 AND 9 PM ACROSS NORTHWEST
OKLAHOMA...NORTH AND WEST OF A CHEROKEE TO ELK CITY LINE.

LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS...GUSTY WINDS UP TO 40 MPH...AND
FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS LATE
THIS AFTERNOON INTO EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

.HEAT...
DANGEROUS HEAT WILL PERSIST THROUGH AT LEAST WEDNESDAY...WITH
TRIPLE DIGIT TEMPERATURES AND HEAT INDEX VALUES. A WEAK FRONT
WITH INCREASING CLOUDS AND RAIN...WILL LEAD TO COOLER
TEMPERATURES LATE THIS WEEK INTO THE WEEKEND.

.THUNDERSTORMS...
ISOLATED STORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHWESTERN
OKLAHOMA ON WEDNESDAY...THEN MAY SPREAD INTO FAR WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT WILL AFFECT THE REGION FROM THURSDAY INTO
THE WEEKEND...RESULTING IN INCREASED THUNDERSTORM CHANCES.

HEAVY RAINFALL...GUSTY WINDS...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING MAY ACCOMPANY
ANY STRONGER STORMS WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...BUT ORGANIZED SEVERE
WEATHER APPEARS UNLIKELY AT THIS  TIME.
