WESTERN...CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

.HEAT...
ANOTHER DAY WITH TRIPLE DIGIT TEMPERATURES...AND HEAT INDEX
VALUES UP TO 105 DEGREES IS EXPECTED. MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW
HEAT SAFETY MEASURES...TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM HEAT RELATED
ILLNESS OR INJURY.

.THUNDERSTORMS...
A WEAKNESS IN THE UPPER LEVEL RIDGE...ALONG WITH AN AREA OF
ENHANCED MID LEVEL MOISTURE MAY ALLOW FOR ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT ACROSS PORTIONS
OF NORTHERN AND WESTERN OKLAHOMA. ANY STRONGER STORMS THAT DEVELOP
WILL PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. AS STORMS WILL
PRIMARILY BE DRIVEN BY DAYTIME HEATING...ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP
WILL DIMINISH THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

.HEAT...
HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF
NEXT WEEK...WITH TRIPLE DIGIT TEMPERATURES AND HEAT INDEX VALUES
ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION. A FRONT SHOULD BRING SOME RELIEF FOR
THE LATTER HALF OF NEXT WEEK.

.THUNDERSTORMS...
ISOLATED STORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA
MONDAY AND TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. A COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED
TO MOVE THROUGH THE REGION LATE WEDNESDAY THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY...
RESULTING IN INCREASED THUNDERSTORM CHANCES OVER MUCH OF THE REGION.
HEAVY RAINFALL...GUSTY WINDS...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING MAY ACCOMPANY
ANY STRONGER STORMS...BUT ORGANIZED SEVERE WEATHER APPEARS UNLIKELY
AT THIS TIME.
