THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHERN...
WESTERN...CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

.THUNDERSTORMS...
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AGAIN TODAY...WITH
TWO MAIN AREAS WHERE A FEW STRONG STORMS MAY OCCUR. THE FIRST
WILL BE OVER AREAS EAST OF INTERSTATE-35...WHERE STORMS MAY
FORM ALONG AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY FROM EASTERN OKLAHOMA RAIN
ACTIVITY. THE SECOND AREA WILL BE NEAR AND SOUTH OF THE
RED RIVER...WHERE DEEPER MOISTURE WILL RESIDE. ALONG WITH
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND STRONG WIND
GUSTS WILL BE THE PRIMARY IMPACTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

.THUNDERSTORMS...
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE SIGNIFICANTLY LATE FRIDAY
AND FRIDAY NIGHT ACROSS FAR WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND ADJACENT
PARTS OF NORTH TEXAS AS TROPICAL MOISTURE INCREASES FROM
THE WEST. A WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY IS FORECAST TO MOVE ACROSS
THE REGION SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...WHICH WILL HELP FOCUS SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS. ORGANIZED SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED
BUT VERY HEAVY RAIN MAY RESULT IN HIGH RAIN TOTALS WHICH
WOULD LEAD TO FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.
THE HIGHEST RAIN TOTALS ARE CURRENTLY EXPECTED TO OCCUR OVER
FAR WESTERN PORTIONS OF OKLAHOMA AND ADJACENT PARTS OF NORTH
TEXAS.

STORMS MAY LINGER MONDAY AND TUESDAY...MAINLY OVER WESTERN
AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS. HEAVY RAIN
WILL STILL BE A CONCERN.
