WESTERN...CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

.HEAT...
HOT TEMPERATURES WILL PREVAIL AGAIN THIS AFTERNOON WITH
TEMPERATURES FROM THE UPPER 90S TO AROUND 104. MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW
HEAT SAFETY MEASURES...TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM HEAT RELATED ILLNESS
OR INJURY.

.THUNDERSTORMS...
WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...MAINLY ACROSS PARTS OF NORTHERN
AND WESTERN OKLAHOMA. THE BEST CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
NORTH OF AN ELK CITY TO STILLWATER LINE.

LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS...GUSTY WINDS UP TO 40 MPH...AND FREQUENT
LIGHTNING STRIKES ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

.HEAT...
DANGEROUS HEAT WILL PERSIST THROUGH AT LEAST WEDNESDAY...WITH
TRIPLE DIGIT TEMPERATURES AND HEAT INDEX VALUES. A WEAK FRONT
WITH INCREASING CLOUDS AND RAIN...WILL LEAD TO COOLER
TEMPERATURES LATE THIS WEEK INTO THE WEEKEND.

.THUNDERSTORMS...
ISOLATED STORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHWESTERN
OKLAHOMA ON WEDNESDAY...THEN MAY SPREAD INTO FAR WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT WILL AFFECT THE REGION FROM THURSDAY INTO
THE WEEKEND...RESULTING IN INCREASED THUNDERSTORM CHANCES.

HEAVY RAINFALL...GUSTY WINDS...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING MAY ACCOMPANY
ANY STRONGER STORMS WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...BUT ORGANIZED SEVERE
WEATHER APPEARS UNLIKELY AT THIS  TIME.
