THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHERN...
WESTERN...CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THROUGH TONIGHT...

.WINTER WEATHER...
SNOW WILL GRADUALLY TAPER OFF BY LATE AFTERNOON ACROSS NORTHERN
OKLAHOMA. IN ITS WAKE...FREEZING DRIZZLE AND LIGHT FREEZING
RAIN WILL OCCUR OVER MUCH OF OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS. AN
ADDITIONAL INCH OR SO OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS NORTHERN OKLAHOMA
BEFORE SNOW ENDS. PROLONGED FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL LEAD TO A LIGHT
COATING OF ICE ON ROADS AND VEHICLES. THIS WILL ONLY ACT TO WORSEN
TRAVEL CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY AFTER SUNSET. PLEASE AVOID TRAVEL IF
AT ALL POSSIBLE TONIGHT...AS ANY MELTED SNOW WILL QUICKLY REFREEZE...
AND ADDITIONAL ICE ACCUMULATES ON EXISTING SNOW PACKED ROADS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

.WINTER WEATHER..
A SERIES OF STORM SYSTEMS WILL KEEP PRECIPITATION IN THE FORECAST
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE COLD ENOUGH
AT TIMES THAT AREAS OF SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL BE
POSSIBLE OFF AND ON AGAIN SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...ESPECIALLY
IN NORTHERN OKLAHOMA. ADDITIONAL LIGHT ICE AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
WILL BE POSSIBLE WHICH COULD CAUSE MORE TRAVEL PROBLEMS.

.THUNDERSTORMS...
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO WARM ENOUGH ON TUESDAY THAT ALL THE
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO BE RAIN DURING THE DAY. SOME
THUNDERSTORMS COULD ALSO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
AND CENTRAL OKLAHOMA.
