.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...
A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL CROSS AREA TODAY. SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL
STRENGTHEN AHEAD THE FRONT AND BUILD SURF HEIGHTS TO 4 TO 6 FEET
IN WALTON AND BAY COUNTIES...3 TO 5 FEET IN GULF COUNTY... AND 2
TO 4 FEET IN FRANKLIN COUNTY. THE INCREASING SURF TODAY WILL
RESULT IN A HIGH RISK FOR RIP CURRENTS WHICH WILL CONTINUE INTO
TONIGHT. THUNDERSTORMS AHEAD OF THE FRONT COULD BE STRONG TO
SEVERE. AS WINDS SHIFT TO THE WEST NORTHWEST...THE WEST FACING
BEACHES OF GULF COUNTY WILL CONTINUE TO SEE A HIGH RISK FOR RIP
CURRENT ON WEDNESDAY. WINDS AND SURF WILL GRADUALLY SUBSIDE LATER
