CAROLINA...EAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A MOIST AIR MASS WILL BE OVER THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIAN REGION
TODAY...WITH A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING ACROSS THE OHIO RIVER
VALLEY HELPING TO CREATE NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND SOME THUNDERSTORMS.
SOME STORMS MAY PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL...WHICH COULD LEAD
TO MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

AN ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN IS EXPECTED TO LINGER OVER SOUTHWEST
VIRGINIA AND NORTHEAST TENNESSEE FOR MOST OF THE WEEK. SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE ANTICIPATED EACH DAY..WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF
SOME STORMS BECOMING STRONG TO SEVERE WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING IS POSSIBLE.
