THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST NORTH
CAROLINA...EAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

MOISTURE WILL INCREASE OVER THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIAN REGION ON
TODAY...WITH A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY
HELPING TO CREATE NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE
TENNESSEE RIVER VALLEY TONIGHT AND INTO MONDAY. SOME STORMS MAY
PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL...WHICH COULD LEAD TO MINOR
FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

AN ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN IS EXPECTED TO LINGER OVER THE REGION
FOR MOST OF THE WEEK...WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF SOME STORMS BECOMING
STRONG TO SEVERE WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
