THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
ALABAMA...SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT AND SUNDAY

DEEP MOISTURE WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT INTO SUNDAY
AHEAD OF DEVELOPING LOW PRESSURE. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
INCREASE IN COVERAGE ACROSS COASTAL AREAS LATE TONIGHT...WITH
NUMEROUS TO WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SPREADING INLAND
THROUGH THE DAY ON SUNDAY. RAIN TOTALS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE LIKELY
ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF THE INTERSTATE 65 CORRIDOR. WITHIN THIS
AREA...A BAND OF HIGHER TOTALS OF 5 TO 8 INCHES IS POSSIBLE WHERE
STORMS REPEATEDLY MOVE OVER THE SAME AREAS. THEREFORE...A FLASH
FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS PORTION OF THE FORECAST AREA
THROUGH SUNDAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY

NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE
REGION SUNDAY EVENING...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND EAST OF THE INTERSTATE
65 CORRIDOR. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING OR
FLASH FLOODING THROUGH EARLY MONDAY ACROSS THESE LOCATIONS. THE
FLASH FLOOD WATCH MAY NEED TO BE EXTENDED INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR THE GULF WATERS OF ALABAMA AND
NORTHWEST FLORIDA UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING DUE TO STRONG
EASTERLY WINDS. SMALL CRAFT SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION OVERNIGHT ACROSS
THE GULF WATERS.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE ACROSS THE MARINE
AREA TONIGHT...BECOMING WIDESPREAD OVERNIGHT. WINDS AND WAVES MAY
BE LOCALLY HIGHER NEAR SOME OF THIS ACTIVITY.
