A VIGOROUS STORM SYSTEM WILL LIFT TOWARD THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY
REGION LATE SATURDAY INTO EARLY SUNDAY. WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO SPREAD ACROSS SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI...
SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL ALABAMA...AND THE NORTHWEST FLORIDA
PANHANDLE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. SOME OF THE
STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE...WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND A FEW
TORNADOES. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL COULD ALSO CAUSE LOCALIZED
FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.

CENTRAL GULF BEGINNING LATE FRIDAY CONTINUING THROUGH SUNDAY AHEAD OF
A VIGOROUS UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND SURFACE COLD FRONT APPROACHING
FROM THE WEST. HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR SMALL CRAFT CAN BE EXPECTED.
A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY WILL LIKELY BE REQUIRED BEGINNING LATE FRIDAY
CONTINUING THROUGH MUCH OF THE WEEKEND.
