THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
ALABAMA...SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP ACROSS
THE REGION TODAY...WITH THE BEST COVERAGE EXPECTED ALONG COASTAL
PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST ALABAMA AND THE NORTHWEST FLORIDA PANHANDLE
THIS MORNING. ADDITIONAL STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT...ESPECIALLY
ALONG THE COAST. THE STRONGER STORMS THAT DEVELOP WILL BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL...WHICH COULD LEAD TO FLOODING OF LOW
LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE
STRONG WIND GUSTS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES.

THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE BEACHES OF
SOUTHWEST ALABAMA AND THE NORTHWEST FLORIDA PANHANDLE TODAY AND
TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH SUNDAY. THE WET WEATHER PATTERN IS FORECAST TO PERSIST INTO
NEXT WEEK. WITH A VERY MOIST AIRMASS IN PLACE...LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE WHICH COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING OF
LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE
STRONG WIND GUSTS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES.

A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE BEACHES OF

NUMEROUS TO WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS
THE COASTAL WATERS TODAY...ESPECIALLY DURING THE MORNING HOURS.
ADDITIONAL SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP LATE TONIGHT. SOME STORMS WILL PRODUCE STRONG
WIND GUSTS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES AND VISIBILITY REDUCING HEAVY
RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED OVER
THE MARINE AREA THIS WEEKEND. STORMY WEATHER LOOKS TO CONTINUE TO
IMPACT THE MARINE AREA INTO NEXT WEEK. SOME STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE
OF PRODUCING STRONG WIND GUSTS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY
RAINFALL.
