ALABAMA...SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

A VIGOROUS STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI
VALLEY LATE SATURDAY INTO EARLY SUNDAY. WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO SPREAD ACROSS SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI...SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL ALABAMA...AND THE
NORTHWEST FLORIDA PANHANDLE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY SUNDAY
MORNING. SOME OF THE STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE OVERNIGHT SATURDAY
INTO EARLY SUNDAY MORNING OVER AREAS SOUTH OF THE HIGHWAY 84
CORRIDOR SOUTH TOWARD THE COAST. THE MAIN THREAT FROM ANY SEVERE
STORMS WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED TORNADOES.

PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL ARE ALSO LIKELY ACROSS THE REGION.
RAINFALL TOTALS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE FORECAST...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
TOTALS POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY CLOSER TO THE COAST. THIS HEAVY RAIN
MAY RESULT IN LOCALIZED FLOODING ISSUES...ESPECIALLY IN URBAN AREAS.

A STRONG EASTERLY WIND FLOW WILL DEVELOP OVER MUCH OF THE NORTH
CENTRAL GULF BEGINNING LATE FRIDAY NIGHT CONTINUING THROUGH SATURDAY
SHIFTING SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY AHEAD OF A
VIGOROUS UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND SURFACE COLD FRONT APPROACHING
FROM THE WEST. SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...SOME
POSSIBLY STRONG TO SEVERE...ARE EXPECTED WITH THIS PATTERN
DEVELOPING MOSTLY LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND DURING THE DAY ON SUNDAY.
AS A RESULT HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR SMALL CRAFT CAN BE EXPECTED BY
EARLY SATURDAY CONTINUING THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK. A SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORY WILL LIKELY BE REQUIRED BEGINNING LATE FRIDAY NIGHT
CONTINUING THROUGH MUCH OF THE WEEKEND.
