THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
ALABAMA...SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT THE
REGION THROUGH TONIGHT...BECOMING FOCUSED NORTH OF THE HIGHWAY 84
CORRIDOR THIS EVENING. FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS
ARE THE MAIN STORM THREATS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A WEAK TROPICAL LOW WILL MOVE WEST OFF OF THE SOUTHERN FLORIDA COAST
TONIGHT...INTO THE CENTRAL GULF THIS WEEKEND...AND INTO THE WESTERN
GULF BY EARLY NEXT WEEK. INCREASING SWELL AND SURF HEIGHTS ARE
LIKELY TO AFFECT AREA BEACHES LATE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY...RESULTING IN
AN ELEVATED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS.

OTHERWISE...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS
MUCH OF THE REGION EACH DAY THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK DUE TO A
STALLED FRONT. THE MAIN THREAT FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL THAT MIGHT RESULT IN LOCALIZED FLOODING
ISSUES...ESPECIALLY IN URBAN AREAS. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL ALSO
CONTAIN FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS.

WINDS...WAVES AND SEAS WILL BE LOCALLY HIGHER IN AND NEAR ISOLATED TO
SCATTERED MARINE STORMS. MARINERS SHOULD ALSO BE ALERT TO THE
POTENTIAL OF FREQUENT LIGHTNING ACTIVITY IN ANY OF THE STRONGER
STORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO MOVE WEST ACROSS THE CENTRAL
GULF THROUGH THE WEEKEND. A BUILD IN SEAS IS POSSIBLE LATE THIS
WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.

WINDS...WAVES AND SEAS WILL BE LOCALLY HIGHER IN AND NEAR ISOLATED TO
SCATTERED MARINE STORMS THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. MARINERS
