ALABAMA...SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THE COMBINATION OF A PERSISTENT SOUTHERLY FLOW AND A NORTHWARD MOVING
SWELL WILL BRING A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AND HIGH SURF WITH
BREAKERS OF 5 TO 7 FEET TO THE SOUTHWEST ALABAMA AND NORTHWEST
FLORIDA PANHANDLE BEACHES THROUGH LATE TODAY. ALSO...WINDY CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED ACROSS MOST OF SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI...SOUTHWEST ALABAMA AND
THE NORTHWEST FLORIDA PANHANDLE TODAY...WITH FREQUENT GUSTS TO 30
MPH.

A FRONT WILL APPROACH THE REGION FROM THE WEST ON TODAY AND TONIGHT.
SHOWERS WILL BECOME LIKELY ACROSS THE AREA IN ASSOCIATION WITH THIS
FRONTAL PASSAGE...ESPECIALLY TONIGHT...BUT NO SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

UNSETTLED CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH MOST OF THE
UPCOMING WEEK. A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL KEEP SHOWERS
IN THE FORECAST...WITH THE BEST CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND MAYBE A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS (OVER GULF WATERS) COMING ON WEDNESDAY AS A STRONGER
UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND SURFACE LOW PRESSURE MOVES EAST ACROSS
THE REGION. AT THIS TIME NO SEVERE OR HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS ANTICIPATED.

BRING HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR SMALL CRAFT OVER THE MARINE AREA
TODAY. WINDS WILL DECREASE LATE TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

ON SUNDAY WINDS SHIFT TO NORTHWESTERLY IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT. A
LIGHT TO MODERATE OFFSHORE WIND FLOW IS THEN EXPECTED THROUGH THE
REMAINDER OF THE WEEK.
