THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
ALABAMA...SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FRONTAL BOUNDARY DRAPED OVER THE DEEP SOUTH EASES SOUTHWARD TODAY
AND INTERACTS WITH MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY...SUPPORTING THE
DEVELOPMENT OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. THE BETTER
CHANCES OF STORMS LOOK TO BE ALONG AND NORTHWEST OF INTERSTATE 65 BY
AFTERNOON. ALONG THE COAST...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG
THE SEA BREEZE AS IT MOVES NORTHWARD.

THE STRONGER STORMS TODAY WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING BRIEF STRONG
WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINS. A FEW SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO MOVE WEST ACROSS THE CENTRAL
GULF THROUGH THE WEEKEND. CONDITIONS COULD BECOME A LITTLE MORE
CONDUCIVE FOR TROPICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THIS FEATURE. AT THIS
TIME...THE STRENGTH OF A SUBTROPICAL RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE
SOUTHERN STATES IS FORECAST TO KEEP THIS SYSTEM ON A WESTWARD TRACK
OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS...FAR ENOUGH TO THE SOUTH TO NOT EFFECT THE LOCAL
AREA.

ALTHOUGH RIP CURRENT RISK IS CURRENTLY LOW THIS WEEKEND...THIS MAY CHANGE
IF THE SYSTEM OVER THE GULF DEVELOPS...SENDING INCREASING SWELL INTO
THE BEACH AREAS. STAY TUNED.

OTHERWISE...ANY OF THE STRONGER DAILY STORMS DURING THE OUTLOOK WILL
BRING HAZARDS IN THE FORM OF BRIEF STRONG WIND GUSTS...FREQUENT
LIGHTNING...AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

ACTIVATION OF SKYWARN SEVERE STORM SPOTTER NETWORKS IS NOT
EXPECTED THROUGH THURSDAY.
