THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
ALABAMA...SOUTHWEST ALABAMA...NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT AND FRIDAY

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE CENTRAL GULF AND
MOVE NORTHEAST TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING ANOTHER
ROUND OF HEAVY RAINFALL TO PORTIONS OF THE AREA. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH
IS IN EFFECT FOR LOCATIONS ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF THE INTESTATE 65
CORRIDOR. IN THESE LOCATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN IS EXPECTED
WITH LOCALLY HIGHER TOTALS OF 6 INCHES POSSIBLE. THIS HEAVY RAIN MAY
LEAD TO INSTANCES OF FLASH FLOODING AND ADDITIONAL RIVER FLOODING
ACROSS SOUTHERN ALABAMA AND THE WESTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE. PLEASE
REFER TO UPDATED FLOOD WARNING STATEMENTS FOR THE LATEST RIVER FLOOD
INFORMATION.

THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG AREA BEACHES.

HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR SMALL CRAFT WILL CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY
EVENING DUE TO A STRONG EAST TO NORTHEAST FLOW.

WIDESPREAD RAIN AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER THE
MARINE AREA TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN
AND CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING STRIKES CAN BE EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY

STRONG WINDS AND HIGH SEAS WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR
SMALL CRAFT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.
