THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
LONG PERIOD SWELLS FROM DISTANT HURRICANE GONZALO WILL PRODUCE
HEAVY BREAKING WAVES AT THE BEACHES AND A HIGH RISK OF DANGEROUS
RIP CURRENTS. THE HIGHEST RIP CURRENT RISK WILL BE THIS MORNING
AND AGAIN THIS EVENING DUE TO TIDAL EFFECTS. HEED THE ADVICE OF
OCEAN RESCUE PERSONNEL AND ONLY ENTER THE SURF NEAR A LIFEGUARD.

BREAK THE GRIP OF THE RIP. NEVER SWIM DIRECTLY AGAINST A RIP
CURRENT. SWIM PARALLEL TO THE BEACH UNTIL OUT OF THE FORCE OF THE
RIP CURRENT AND THEN SWIM BACK TO SHORE.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
A NORTH WIND 10 TO 15 KNOTS WILL PRODUCE CHOPPY SEAS UP TO 6 FEET
IN THE GULF STREAM...MAINLY THIS MORNING. SMALL CRAFT OPERATORS
SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.
SOME LONG PERIOD SWELL WILL LINGER THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND KEEP THE
RIP CURRENT RISK ELEVATED.
