.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE OVER THE REGION TONIGHT WITH THE
COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON TO DATE SETTLING OVER THE REGION. LOW
TEMPERATURES WILL AVERAGE 20 DEGREES OR MORE BELOW NORMAL. LOWS WILL
RANGE FROM THE SINGLE DIGITS ACROSS THE NORTH TO THE LOWER 20S OVER
THE FAR SOUTH.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO PROTECT ANY PIPES FROM THIS VERY COLD AIR AND
BRING ALL PLANTS INDOORS. ALSO...REMEMBER TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR PETS
AND PROTECT THEM FROM THESE BONE CHILLING CONDITIONS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE WESTERN HIGH PLAINS BY
SATURDAY MORNING AND LIFT THROUGH THE STATE DURING THE DAY. THIS
STORM WILL BRING A VERY GOOD CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO
THE REGION SATURDAY INTO SATURDAY EVENING. THE STORM IS VERY DYNAMIC
AND THE POSSIBILITY OF SEVERE WEATHER CAN NOT BE DISCOUNTED AT THIS
TIME.
