THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
HIGH PRESSURE WILL EXIT THE REGION TO THE EAST AS A COLD FRONT DROPS
DOWN FROM THE NORTH. THIS WILL RESULT IN SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS OF
20 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 40 MPH. AS A RESULT...A LAKE WIND
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT AREA WIDE FROM 10 AM TO 7 PM CDT.

THE GUSTY WINDS IN COMBINATION WITH AFTERNOON HUMIDITY DROPPING AS
LOW AS 25 PERCENT WILL RESULT IN AN ELEVATED FIRE DANGER ACROSS THE
REGION. OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT ADVISED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THE AFOREMENTIONED COLD FRONT WILL STALL ACROSS THE NORTH ON FRIDAY
WITH SEVERAL UPPER LEVEL IMPULSES INTERACTING WITH IT. THE RESULT
WILL BE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE NORTH. THERE
IS A SMALL CHANCE A FEW OF THE STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG WITH LARGE
HAIL THE PRIMARY CONCERN.

DRY WEATHER WILL RETURN ON SATURDAY BEFORE GOOD RAIN CHANCES RETURN
ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY AS A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT ARRIVES FROM THE
NORTHWEST. A GENERAL RAINFALL OF AN INCH TO AN INCH AND A HALF
ACROSS THE REGION IS EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

COLDER TEMPERATURES WILL RETURN FOR TUESDAY MORNING...WITH LOWS NEAR
FREEZING POSSIBLE ACROSS THE NORTH.
