THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD ARKANSAS FROM THE SOUTH AND WEST TODAY.
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE EMBEDDED IN THE RAIN. AMOUNTS WILL
RANGE FROM A HALF INCH TO AN INCH AND A HALF...WITH LOCALLY OVER TWO
INCHES. PRECIPITATION WILL GRADUALLY TAPER OFF FROM THE NORTHWEST
TONIGHT AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH THE STATE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THE FRONT WILL STALL ALONG THE GULF COAST...AND WILL EVENTUALLY
DRIFT BACK TO THE NORTH. LATER THIS WEEK...A STORM SYSTEM ALOFT WILL
WOBBLE TOWARD THE REGION FROM THE SOUTHERN PLAINS. THE FRONT AND THE
SYSTEM WILL KEEP UNSETTLED WEATHER IN THE FORECAST...WITH SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EACH DAY. PRECIPITATION WILL BE MOST LIKELY
DURING THE HEAT OF THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

WHILE THERE COULD BE ISOLATED SEVERE WEATHER...THE MAIN CONCERN WILL
BE HEAVY TO EXCESSIVE RAIN.
