THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FRONT WILL WOBBLE FROM NORTHERN ARKANSAS INTO SOUTHERN MISSOURI
TODAY. AS THIS HAPPENS...A STORM SYSTEM WILL ARRIVE FROM THE CENTRAL
PLAINS...AND WILL INTERACT WITH THE FRONT.

STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO ERUPT FROM NORTHEAST
OKLAHOMA INTO SOUTHWEST MISSOURI THIS AFTERNOON. DURING THE
EVENING...PRECIPITATION WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD...AND WILL BUILD
INTO AREAS NORTH AND WEST OF LITTLE ROCK.

WHERE SEVERE STORMS OCCUR ACROSS THE NORTHERN AND WESTERN COUNTIES
THIS EVENING...LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS ARE THE MAIN CONCERNS.
THERE WILL ALSO BE AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN...WITH HALF INCH TO INCH AND
A HALF AMOUNTS COMMON.

AS THE NIGHT WEARS ON...THE STORM SYSTEM WILL DRAG THE FRONT THROUGH
THE REGION. RAIN WILL BECOME MORE SCATTERED WITH TIME...AND CHANCES
FOR SEVERE WEATHER WILL DIMINISH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

IT WILL TURN MUCH COOLER BEHIND THE FRONT THURSDAY. WINDS WILL SHIFT
TO THE NORTH AND NORTHWEST...AND WILL BE GUSTY. A LAKE WIND ADVISORY
MAY BE REQUIRED.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY MORNINGS...TEMPERATURES MAY DROP TO AROUND
FREEZING IN ISOLATED SPOTS ACROSS NORTHERN ARKANSAS. PATCHY FROST
WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE IN NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE STATE.

OF ARKANSAS DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER.
