NORTHEAST THROUGH THE RIVER PARISHES...

AT 539 AM CDT...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM NEAR MARINGOUIN TO NEAR WALKER TO 10 MILES NORTHEAST
OF LAPLACE...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

THE PRIMARY THREAT FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE TORRENTIAL RAINFALL AT
TIMES GREATLY REDUCING VISIBILITY DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE.
FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY THESE STORMS.

BATON ROUGE...SLIDELL...HAMMOND...ZACHARY...BAKER...DENHAM SPRINGS...
COVINGTON...PORT ALLEN...PONCHATOULA...WALKER...PEARL RIVER...ABITA
SPRINGS...LIVINGSTON...INDEPENDENCE...MARINGOUIN...ALBANY...
SLAUGHTER...ROSEDALE...MADISONVILLE AND FOLSOM.

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS...AND MAY
CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
