SUBJECT:  NMFS MESSAGE ON NWR

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MOA BETWEEN NWS AND NMFS...WE ARE REQUESTING
THE FOLLOWING BE BROADCAST ON NWR STATIONS THROUGHOUT THE GULF OF
MEXICO (FROM BROWNSVILLE THROUGH KEY WEST). PLEASE BROADCAST THE
MESSAGE AT 30 MINUTE INTERVALS FOR FIVE DAYS FROM OCTOBER 10TH
THROUGH OCTOBER 14TH.

THE NATIONAL MARINE FISHERIES SERVICE ANNOUNCES THAT EFFECTIVE 12:01
A.M. LOCAL TIME...OCTOBER 13...2014 UNTIL 12:01 A.M. LOCAL
TIME...JULY 1...2014...THE COMMERCIAL TRIP LIMIT FOR GULF GROUP KING
MACKEREL FROM FEDERAL WATERS OF THE FLORIDA WEST COAST NORTHERN
SUBZONE IS REDUCED TO 500 POUNDS PER DAY. THIE FLORIDA WEST COAST
NORTHERN SUBZONE IS LOCATED IN FEDERAL WATERS OF THE GULF OF MEXICO
NORTH OF THE LEE AND COLLIER COUNTY LINE OFF FLORIDA AND EAST OF THE
ALABAMA AND FLORIDA STATE BOUNDARY. DIRECT QUESTIONS TO THE NATIONAL
MARINE FISHERIES SERVICE AT 7 2 7 8 2 4 5 3 0 5.
