AT 1218 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN. THIS
THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED OVER THE RIVER PARISHES...ESPECIALLY OVER
SAINT JAMES...ASSUMPTION AND SAINT JOHN PARISHES. THESE STORMS WERE
MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

DUE TO THE MOVEMENT OVER THE SAME AREA...THESE STORMS MAY BRING
RAINFALL RATES OF UP TO ONE INCH PER HOUR.
