THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
LOUISIANA...SOUTH MISSISSIPPI AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS WILL ONCE AGAIN BE POSSIBLE
WITH THE HIGHEST RISK OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING SOUTH AND WEST
OF A BATON ROUGE TO NEW ORLEANS LINE. THESE THUNDERSTORMS COULD
PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS...OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING STRIKES...AND
WIND GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING MORE NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS TO
THE AREA FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOST
PREVALENT DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS. THESE STORMS COULD PRODUCE
FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL...AND GUSTY
WINDS. STREET FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN
EVENTS.

MORE TYPICAL SCATTERED AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY OVER THE AREA. THESE THUNDERSTORMS
COULD PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING
STRIKES...AND GUSTY WINDS.
