THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
LOUISIANA...SOUTH MISSISSIPPI AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

A FREEZE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR A LARGE PORTION OF THE FORECAST
AREA AS FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE ONGOING AND EXPECTED ACROSS A
LARGE PORTION OF THE AREA. WILL HAVE TO WATCH OBSERVATIONS TO SEE
IF AN UPGRADE TO A HARD FREEZE WARNING WOULD BE NEEDED AS
TEMPERATURES FALL TONIGHT.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT OVERNIGHT FOR ALL
COASTAL WATERS. WINDS OF 20 TO 30 KNOTS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE
OVERNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES WILL CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING
ACROSS THE OPEN COASTAL WATERS...AS WELL AS CHANDELEUR AND BRETON
SOUNDS.

SEVERAL PERIODS OF RAIN ARE EXPECTED BEGINNING SUNDAY NIGHT AND
CONTINUING THROUGH MUCH OF NEXT WEEK. THIS IS LIKELY TO PRODUCE
RISING WATER LEVELS ON AREA RIVERS.

THE ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS...HAM RADIO OPERATORS...AND
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL IN SUPPORT OF SEVERE WEATHER
