THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
LOUISIANA...SOUTH MISSISSIPPI AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR TODAY WITH HEAT INDEX READINGS
EXPECTED TO RANGE 105 TO 112 THIS AFTERNOON.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR STRONG THUNDERSTORMS TO MOVE INTO THE
EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA LATE THIS EVENING AND
POSSIBLY MOVE INTO SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA OVERNIGHT. THE MAIN
CONCERNS WILL BE FREQUENT LIGHTNING...STRONG WIND GUSTS 40 TO 50
MPH AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

THERE WILL BE A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS EACH AFTERNOON. GUSTY
WINDS...OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE THE
PRIMARY IMPACTS.

A TIGHTENING OF THE PRESSURE GRADIENT OVER THE NORTH GULF WATERS
MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY MAY PROMPT HEADLINES FOR PORTIONS OF THE
COASTAL WATERS.
