THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
LOUISIANA...SOUTH MISSISSIPPI AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE FORECAST AREA TONIGHT
INTO THURSDAY MORNING. THIS WILL BRING A CHANCE OF SOME WINTER
WEATHER ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI AND POSSIBLY THE
ADJACENT LOUISIANA PARISHES LATE TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING. A
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR WILKINSON AND AMITE
COUNTIES IN MISSISSIPPI WHERE SOME LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATIONS ARE
POSSIBLE. SEE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY TEXT FOR MORE DETAILS.

THE SAME FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE COASTAL WATERS AND CREATE
HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR SMALL CRAFT BEGINNING LATE TONIGHT AND
LASTING THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BE PUSHING THROUGH THE AREA BRINGING WITH
IT A CHANCE FOR SOME WINTER WEATHER ESPECIALLY OVER PORTIONS OF
SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI. SEE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY TEXT FOR DETAILS.

THE SAME STRONG COLD FRONT WILL INDUCE STRONG COLD AIR ADVECTION.

WINDS WILL MEET WIND ADVISORY CRITERIA SOUTH OF LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN
THURSDAY. HAVE ISSUED A WIND ADVISORY FOR THAT AREA AS WINDS ARE
EXPECTED TO BE SUSTAINED AT 20 TO 30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. STRONG

WITH FREQUENT HIGHER GUSTS ARE EXPECTED. THERE IS AN OUTSIDE
CHANCE THAT THE SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY COULD BE UPGRADED TO A GALE

UNFOLDS ON THURSDAY.

ANOTHER ROUND OF SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE
ON MONDAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FORMS IN THE WESTERN GULF OF
MEXICO.
