* AT 448 PM CDT...A LARGE AREA OF OF VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS
INDICATED TO EXTEND FROM POPLARVILLE...THROUGH HAMMOND WESTWARD TO
PRARIEVILLE AND PORT ALLEN. THE AREA OF RAIN WAS MOVING TO THE NORTH
AT 10 MPH AND WILL BE ENTERING THE UPPER FLORIDA PARISHES BY 530 PM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN THE
ADVISORY AREA.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

A FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS RIVER OR STREAM FLOWS ARE ELEVATED OR PONDING
OF WATER IN URBAN OR OTHER AREAS IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.
