.UPDATE...
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR WESTERN SECTIONS OF THE
FORECAST AREA TODAY. THE WATCH IS GENERALLY WEST OF A LINE
EXTENDING FROM LIBERTY MISSISSIPPI TO LIVINGSTON...CONVENT AND
NAPOLEONVILLE IN LOUISIANA. TWO TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
ALREADY FALLEN IN A FEW AREAS WITHIN THE WATCH AND THE POTENTIAL
FOR ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL WILL EXIST THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
GENERAL RAINFALL TOTALS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED IN THE WATCH AREA
WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. FLASH FLOOD GUIDANCE VALUES
ARE AROUND 5 INCHES OVER A SIX HOUR PERIOD IN THESE AREAS. 11
